Meet The Meyers: Urban Meyer Steps Down from Football to Be With Meyer Kids

Urban Meyer of Florida Gators football fame has stepped down as head coach of the University of Florida football team. 

In a statement he released he cited that he wants to spend more time supporting his own kids in their respective sports. 

Well a lot of people are wondering, what does that mean? Youth soccer? 

You will be surprised to find out. Let's meet the Meyer kids and see where Urban Meyer will be spending his time. 

At The Meyer Lake House

Urban Meyer has been known to spend time with his family at their lake house. Such a great family spot, he will be supporting his youngest daughter, Gigi Meyer in her pursuit of wakeboarding. 

Gigi has been known to compete in local wakeboard events around Florida. The video to the right introduces you to the "family time" Urban Meyer. 

It also depicts what Coach Meyer will be doing now that he is stepping away from football. 

Meyer at Georgia Tech?

Nicole Meyer is the Meyers' oldest child. She also happens to be a D-1 athlete.

Nicole plays volleyball for Georgia Tech. Perhaps now Urban Meyer will be able to attended a few more of her games. 

The youngest of the Meyer clan would be their son, Nate Meyer. With the athletic background of his family, he will be sure to make some serious athletic pursuits of his own in the near future. 

So, looks like by leaving Florida, Coach Meyer will be spending his days at the lake house and Georgia Tech. I wonder if GT is in need of a new football coach?
