College Football Bowl Schedule: 5 Must-Watch Games
After a long year of football, the bowl schedule has finally been announced.
There's so many to choose from, but are you actually going to watch all of them?
Does anyone really want to watch Ohio play Troy? What about BYU and UTEP?
I know I don't, but here are five games worth marking your calendar for.
5. Oklahoma State V Arizona
1 of 5
Oklahoma State is a fun team to watch.
They have the second best offense in the nation, and generally tend to score at will.
Their team features what are possibly three of the best offensive players in the nation in Brandon Weeden, Kendall Hunter, and Justin Blackmon.
The only losses they suffered were to Nebraska and Oklahoma in hard fought games.
On the flipside Arizona is a great team whose 7-5 record is deceiving.
Of there five losses, two came to teams (Oregon and Stanford) playing in BCS bowls.Their remaining three losses came by a combined six points.
Arizona features the nation's 12th ranked offense and possibly the Pac-10's most underrated quarterback in Nick Foles.
This game should be an offensive show, tune in.
4. Alabama V Michigan State
2 of 5
Michigan State is probably the nation's best team that gets the least respect.
Well at least it seems that way. We will find out for sure when they take on SEC power Alabama.
Michigan State only lost once this year, but it was an absolute drubbing to Iowa. But, they were also the only team who beat Wisconsin all year long.S
Michigan State has a good offense led by quarterback Kirk Cousins and running backs Edwin Baker and Le'Veon Bell.
While Alabama lost three games, two of those games were by less than a field goal, and all three came in the tough SEC.
Like Michigan State they showcase two strong running backs in Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram.
This game will be won in the trenches.
3. Stanford V Virginia Tech
3 of 5
Stanford is a team I didn't get to watch play much this year.
But, when I did, they were darn impressive.
Andrew Luck is one of the best, if not the best, quarterbacks in the nation and watching him play is a treat.
Stanford has the ability to put up a lot of points, and fast.
On the other hand, Virginia Tech is one of the hottest teams in the nation.
After losing their first two games, they won 11 straight, and none were really all that close.
This game will let us know which team's success this year was more legitimate.
2. Wisconsin V TCU
4 of 5
Wisconsin's offense is insane.
Since losing to Michigan State, they have scored at least 30 points in seven straight games.
In two of their last three games, they've scored 70 or more.
How could you not want to watch that?
TCU went undefeated, and finished with the NCAA's best defense.
But will their defense, which played most of their games in the Mountain West, be able to keep up with Wisconsin?
1. Oregon V Auburn
5 of 5
Cam Newton.
LaMichael James.
Two of the NCAA's most high powered offenses in recent memory.
Oh, and its the national championship.
What more reason do you need?
