NFL Draft 2011: Rating the Top 5 Quarterbacks In The Country

Frank FittipaldiDec 2, 2010

Andrew Luck, Stanford

Andrew Luck had a great freshman season for Stanford and is having a magnificent sophomore year as well. Luck has thrown 28 touchdowns this season with just seven interceptions.

He might be the most NFL-ready quarterback if he decides to enter the 2011 NFL draft.

Luck had a huge day in his last game against Oregon State, throwing four touchdown passes.

Jake Locker, Washington

Washington's quarterback, Jake Locker, is a great talent and opened a lot of eyes after his 2009 season.

Locker's numbers are down this season but he will still be a top pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Locker has thrown 15 touchdowns along with seven interceptions this season.

Ryan Mallett, Arkansas

Ryan Mallett is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2011 NFL draft, and rightfully so.

Mallett had a great first year with Arkansas and he is continuing his success this season.

Mallett has thrown over 3,500 yards this season along with 30 touchdowns.

Kellen Moore, Boise State

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore is having a monster year, despite a big loss last weekend to Nevada.

Moore has thrown 30 touchdowns this year with just five interceptions and is a great talent going into the 2011 draft.

Colin Kaepernick, Nevada

Nevada's quarterback Colin Kaepernick has played well this season and also got the best of Kellen Moore last weekend.

Kaepernick has a lot of potential, but there may be some questions if he is NFL-ready.

This 6'6", 225-pound quarterback definitely has the skill set, but he will just need to adjust to a pro-style system.
