Rafa Benitez Says Roy Hodgson Couldn't See a Priest on Mountain of Sugar (Video)
Rafa Benitez is building a reputation as football's go-to man for ridiculous soundbites.
The Inter Milan manager is performing well in his new job, but his Liverpool past is refusing to go away. And he appears to be feeling the strain.
Two weeks ago he gave us this:
"We have a saying in Spanish, which is, 'White liquid in a bottle has to be milk'.
"What does this mean? It means after 86 points and finishing second in the league, what changed? The Americans. They chose a new managing director and everything changed."
And now he's bettered it. Responding to Roy Hodgson's thinly-veiled criticism of the squad he left behind, and Hodgson's claims he left Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish out in the cold at Anfield, Benitez bit back in wonderfully cryptic style.
Enjoy...
