Arsenal Transfer Prospects: Can Nacer Barazite Become the Next Tomas Rosicky?

Since the Arsene Wenger era, Arsenal has become renowned for their large abundance of exciting youngsters who in the coming years will dazzle World Football with their superb talent. Over the past decade the world football stage has witnessed the likes of Ashley Cole, Nicholas Anelka, Kolo Toure, and Robin van Persie and of course Cesc Fabregas arrive at Arsenal as baby faced talents before Wenger ensures their talent comes to fruition and they become the next superstars of the world game.

The current crop of emerging talents looms as one of the best yet having won numerous trophies over the past years,  the most recent the 2009 FA Youth Cup. The large abundance of promise ensures the North London giants are in a strong position in terms of depth and finances for the coming years.

When the current Arsenal stars do happen to depart of succumbed to horror injuries there is an exciting array of youngsters ready to fill the void. One player who is unlikely to at Arsenal for another two seasons is Czech maestro Tomas Rosicky.

The 30 year old has enjoyed some stellar seasons at the Gunners but unfortunately has also struggled with injuries with his somewhat mitigated his time. Currently fully fit and providing a reliable source in the Arsenal midfield.

However at the experienced age of 30 alongside the up and coming youngsters emerging, it is hard to picture the former Borussia Dortmund maestro in Arsenal colours for a further few seasons.

So in light of the situation, this article will analyse an emerging youngster who looks capable of replacing “Little Mozart”.

Nacaer Barazite

The Dutch youngster is a talented prospect but has failed to receive adequate opportunities with injuries halting his progress under Wenger.  But the 20 year old has enjoyed a stellar loan spell in 2008/2009 with Derby County, in which Barazite showcased his midfield prowess.

The Dutch starlet is currently on a season long loan with Dutch outfit Vitesse, where Barazite will attempt to maintain a consistent playing time before returning to the Emirates an experienced player.
The Netherlandss U-21 star is blessed with similar traits to Rosicky. Both are creative, attacking midfielders able to fulfil all roles across the midfield including the winger and second striker roles. Barazite boast great speed and strength as well as a vicious shot.


However should Barazite fail to receive or capitalize on opportunities at Vitesse than it will grow increasingly likely that the Dutchman will depart North London with a host of other youngsters.
