New York Rangers Recall Jeremy Williams As a Precaution For Sunday's Game
According to Andrew Gross (The Record), the New York Rangers have called on Jeremy Williams as a possible replacement in Sunday's game. In Saturday night's game against the Boston Bruins, Rangers winger Brandon Prust was cut above the right eye on a high-stick. Prust left the game, and did not return.
Brandon Prust was taken to a nearby hospital to have his pupil examined for any damage. He checked out okay, and returned to New York Sunday morning. The New York Rangers have not ruled out Brandon Prust for Sunday night's contest against the New Jersey Devils, but as a precaution, they have called upon Jeremy Williams.

It will likely be a game time decision for Prust, but if he is unable to play Jeremy Williams will take his spot.
Williams last played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009-09. He scored five goals and two assists in 11 games for Toronto. The 26-year-old winger has scored an impressive four goals and two assists in only eight games so far this season for the Hartford Wolf Pack/Whale.
Williams was signed to a one-year deal during free agency.
That's all for now.
UPDATE: According to Andrew Gross (The Record), Steve Zipay (Newsday), and Jim Cerny (Rangers Official Website), Jeremy Williams is supposed to be in the line-up tonight, but not for Prust. Veteran forward Todd White is expected to sit out a game while Prust and Williams make the line-up card.
