Fantasy Football Week 7: Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Sunday Morning Thoughts
Just hours before the start of Week 7, I know many people have questions running through their heads. Who should I start? Who should I sit?
Let’s take a look at a few situations to try and settle things.
Kenny Britt – Tennessee Titans Vs. Philadelphia

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It appeared like Britt could finally be on his way towards becoming a viable fantasy option, especially for those in three wide receiver formats. He has a touchdown in each of his last four games, giving owners hope.
Of course, he has only once surpassed 41 yards this season, so if the touchdowns were to dry up (and they very well could), his value would decrease substantially. He also was never guaranteed a starting job, once the injured Justin Gage returns to the lineup, making his future even more questionable.
Now comes the newest development—an off-the-field incident in which he got into a fight at a nightclub. Britt will dress, but he won’t start. How many snaps is he going to play is anyone’s guess.
He’s an unusable option at this point, unless you are absolutely desperate. As for his prospects the rest of the season, he very easily could have fallen right back into Jeff Fisher’s doghouse.
We’ll continue following the story, but he certainly should be shifted to your bench in all formats.
Verdict – Sit ‘Em
Patrick Crayton – San Diego Chargers Vs. New England
With Legedu Naanee and Malcolm Floyd listed as doubtful and Antonio Gates hurting (and possibly out), Crayton finds himself in position to have a big day. Last week, after injuries nearly decimated the receiving corps, Crayton connected with Philip Rivers to the tune of six receptions and 117 yards.
He was targeted just seven times, with Buster Davis leading the way with eight targets. Considering his production last week, there’s a good chance Crayton becomes the focal point of the passing game. Against a Patriots defense that is fourth worst in the league, allowing 273.4 passing yards per game, that’s an enviable situation to be in.
There’s a chance that the team puts a bigger focus on Ryan Mathews and Mike Tolbert, but they also need to realize their matchup and take advantage of it. That makes Crayton a solid play as a WR3 in all formats this week. There are risks, but he should be solid.
Verdict – Start ‘Em in three wide receiver formats
Steve Breaston – Arizona Cardinals at Seattle
Signs point to him playing, but officially he’s going to be a game-time decision. While he has a tremendous matchup against the third worst passing defense in the league (290.8 passing yards per game), a 4 PM game-time makes him an impossible play.
He hasn’t played since Week 3, has Max Hall playing quarterback, and if he doesn’t dress, leaves you with limited options in terms of replacements. Keep him stashed on the bench, as he should become a viable option moving forward.
Verdict – Sit ‘Em
What are your thoughts on these players? Would you play or bench them? Why or why not?
