Fantasy Football Week 6: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Players To Start
Although there are four teams on a bye in Week 6, the impact on fantasy football owners may turn out to be minimal.
The Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals all have the week off, so unless you are relying on the likes of Terrell Owens or Larry Fitzgerald you shouldn’t be hurt by the bye week. Some notable injuries and the return of Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may impact lineup decisions this week.
Take a look at our “Fantasy Football Start ‘Ems” for Week 6 to see who you can count on in your fantasy lineup.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Cleveland
The much anticipated return of Roethlisberger finally comes this week as the Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have been decent against the pass this season, but both times an opposing quarterback has attempted over 30 passes against them this season, they allowed over 250 passing yards while allowing five passing touchdowns in those games.
In his first start against the Browns in 2009, which was also a home game, Roethlisberger had 417 passing yards while completing nearly 66 percent of his passes, so even if he does not throw a lot in his season debut, he should find some success.
If you drafted Roethlisberger and hung onto him without giving in to any temptation to trade him, feel free to plug him into your lineup this week.
Ahmad Bradshaw (New York Giants) vs. Detroit
Bradshaw was limited by an ankle injury in Week 5 against the Houston Texans, but had 67 yards on 16 carries along with three catches for 22 yards in the game.
Backfield mate Brandon Jacobs had 10 carries and a touchdown in the game, however, it’s clear Bradshaw is the Giants’ top running back. He also looks to be healthier heading into what should be a very favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 6, as he was not even listed on the Giants’ injury report on Wednesday.
The Lions have allowed the second most fantasy points per game (23.4) along with seven total touchdowns (five rushing, two receiving) to opposing runners so far this season. The possibility of Jacobs’ vulturing a touchdown is there, but Bradshaw should get 20-plus touches and be a low-end RB1 this week regardless.
Hines Ward (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Cleveland
Ward has just six catches for 57 yards over the Steelers’ last three games after posting a six-reception, 108-yard game in Week 1. Not impressive numbers, however, the return of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger this week, along with a matchup against the Cleveland Browns, should help him get back on track.
The Browns have allowed seven touchdowns to opposing wide receivers so far this season, which is good for a tie for second-most in the league. Ward has put up at least six receptions and 70 yards in his last four home games against the Browns, including last season’s eight-catch, 159-yard with one touchdown and has scored in three of those four games.
Look for Roethlisberger to find his favorite target from last season frequently this week. Ward is usable as a top receiver in a nice matchup.
