Dallas Cowboys: Owner Jerry Jones Remains Committed to His Losing Formula
The following is a follow-up to my previous offering: "Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Should Name Himself Head Coach."
While Texans celebrate the triumph of an organization that has been built the right way from the ground up, namely, those incredibly resilient Texas Rangers, Jerry Jones kicks the collective fan base in the groin by stubbornly insisting he still believes in Wade Phillips.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Jerry and Stephen Jones both stated their unequivocal commitment to—and belief in—Wade Phillips and his staff.

Despite clear and indisputable evidence to the contrary, the Joneses insist that Wade has taken responsibility for his team's inexplicable failures in the first quarter of the 2010 NFL season.
Stephen Jones, the man I had hoped might bring a sense of sanity to Cowboys leadership absurdly insisted:
"I think in our organization everybody is taking responsibility, not just Wade," Stephen Jones said. "He does. He takes responsibility. The coaching staff takes responsibility. The players take it. We all take it. We're a team, we're an organization, and when we fall short, we accept it as a team."
Amazing. Has the younger Jones never actually listened to a Wade Phillips press conference? Let me remind him that, after his team completely self-destructed Sunday, Wade said the following:
"Our quarterback is throwing the ball well; our receivers are catching the ball; we're able to run the ball; we're playing tough; I think we're playing very tough, on defense."
In other words, "Hey, we look good in the stat department! What more do you mean ol' fans want?"
Jerry Jones echoed Stephen's sentiment by saying,"With Wade...I'm very comfortable that we can do better."
Apparently ignorance and arrogance is genetic. If Stephen really believes his own rhetoric and isn't just saying what he feels he has to say at this time, given where we are in the season, then the future of the Cowboys organization looks as bleak as the present.
So, all I have to say to the Jones clan is, "Go Rangers!"
