Is Alabama Being Shown Too Much Love After Their First Loss? The Polls Say Yes
Larry Burton (Syndicated Writer) Is Alabama being shown too much love right now? Are others, perhaps more deserving being shown too little? Here is what the polls are showing now.

Is it strange that South Carolina has just one loss like Alabama, but actually beat Alabama and is still behind Alabama?
And what about LSU, can Les Miles not get any respect? All the polls put Alabama ahead of his unbeaten Tigers?
Is this lots of love for the Crimson Tide, or disrespect for programs most voters simply don't see as deserving?
A quick look at the polls show two teams ahead of Alabama that would suffer a loss should Alabama go undefeated, Auburn and either Nebraska or Oklahoma. So should Alabama run the rest of the table, would they, should they, be rated any higher than sixth?
Most pundits might agree that a one loss SEC Champion may skip over TCU or even Boise, but over an undefeated Oregon, Ohio State, or Big Ten Champion as well?
Should the remaining teams be undefeated, this could indeed set up an interesting choice by the BCS committee.
