College Football Rankings: This Week's Jimmy Poll

If you ever needed proof that "nice guys finish last" here it is. There is no bigger tool in sports and no better coach. At least, no better college coach. Has anyone ever seen him smile?

But he is about to do the unthinkable. He is about to make Bama fans stop worshipping Bear Bryant. I am old enough to remember the Bear. He couldn't hold Saban's clipboard.

#1 Alabama

This is a no-brainer. Start stacking up those Dr. Peppers at the local Wal-Mart. Another crystal football is on the way.

#2 Nobody

Speaking of nobody...How far has Texas fallen off the map? The gap between Alabama and everyone else is so wide that nobody deserves to be #2.

Have you ever gone to those recruiting websites and looked up where Boise State typically finishes? Try it sometime and then tell me how they are where they are. Then tell me how Georgia is where they are.

#4 Oregon

Apologies to the Ducks. If there is a team that could possibly beat Alabama it's Oregon. The Ducks are now my new favorite team for the rest of the season. Not really, but you know what I mean.

Oregon vs. Bama in the BCS title game and I am screaming Go Ducks! Not that I have anything against Tide fans but if somebody doesn't slow them down soon, they may win the title every year from now on.

#5 Ohio State
