San Diego Chargers are Lights Out
For the second straight home game in a row, the San Diego Charger game will be blacked-out on the local channel. Reports say that there were more than 6,500 tickets left to be sold at the Thursday deadline, therefore not surpassing the NFL rule of selling out 72 hours prior to the game.
Before this season had started, the Chargers boasted a 48-game sellout streak that dated back to 2004, but seem to be having a great difficulty selling out this current season.
This is just more tension to add onto the struggling Chargers. The team is currently 1-2 and sitting on the bottom of the AFC West, a division that they should be crushing. Although a slow start is not something new for the Chargers, it does pose a threat, especially with the Kansas City Chiefs sitting at 3-0.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I am actually baffled at why these games are not selling out. Many believe it is the economy, but according to our government, the recession ended already.
Could it be the crappy start? I highly doubt it, the Chargers have started 2-3 in the past few seasons and that has never affected ticket sales.
I think it is just that the fans are fed up. They have given up faith in this Super Bowl aspiring team. Year after year analysts talk about how deep the Chargers are and how this may just be the year for them to win it all, and every year they come out of the gates slowly.
No longer is this team deep, and injuries are starting to play a big role. No longer do they have have special team studs such as Kassim Osgood and Tim Dobbins, and the special teams plays so far has shown that.
I am still a Charger faithful and will always believe that they will win it this year, but even I have started to grow tiresome of the same old act every year, and I have not been shy to state my opinion on the situation: Fire Norv Turner.
This is just an opinion so please…Pardon My Bias.
