College Football Week 5: Flynn's 15 Fearless Picks
I told you it might take a few weeks to hit our stride and now it finally seems like we’re getting on the right track with the picks as we finished 10-5 last week.
We easily won the diamond pick with Michigan as they trounced Bowling Green, even with the absence of Denard Robinson in the second half. But sadly, Joker Phillips and the Kentucky defense let us down big time with the upset pick of Kentucky over Florida. Thanks a lot Trey Burton!
Oh well, nothing to fret about.
There’s a new week and a whole new slate of games to occupy our attention. As Bob Reynolds always said: Always live in the here and now, never in the past.
There are a few lines that really look delicious this week, but one in particular is Baylor listed as nine and a half point favorites over Kansas at home.
We’ve been patiently waiting for the opportunity to ride the back of Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin all the way to the bank and this week seems like a great chance to do so. Let’s go with the Baylor Bears as the diamond pick of the week.
For the upset special, let’s go with Michigan State in honor of Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio, who will be coaching this one from the press box as he recovers from a minor heart attack.
This Saturday is setting up to be the biggest day of the college football season yet, so let’s have a big day and go break those bookies!
