
Alabama Vs. Arkansas & The Rest of The Must See Week 4 Games In College Football
The third week of the college football season provided its fans everywhere with some great games to watch. Nebraska and Boise St. lived up to their high rankings on the road by dismantling their opponents, Arizona and Iowa played a tough game down in the desert, and arguably the most exciting game of the weekend, the Michigan State victory over Notre Dame.
Some college football fans probably didn’t watch some of those games because they didn’t think that they would be worth it. Here is a list of 10 games to watch this weekend, so do not say you were not warned.
#20 USC @ Washington State

Storyline: USC travels to Washington State to take on the Cougars. Ranked #20 in the nation and 24 point favorites, the Trojans should be able to begin their Pac-10 season with a victory.
Why You Should Watch: The 2010 Trojans are not the same team that we are used to seeing play football on Saturdays. Despite being 3-0, they have been inconsistent and have not looked impressive at times. Has all the signs to be an interesting Pac-10 matchup.
#19 Miami (FL) @ Pittsburgh

Storyline: The Hurricanes are coming off a bye week in which they lost to the Buckeyes in Columbus. They are taking on a Pittsburgh team that was ranked in the preseason poll before dropping their season opener to Utah.
Why You Should Watch: The Hurricanes are in the process of building their program back up to the powerhouse that they used to be. This will be another tough road game for the Canes taking on an opponent looking to turn their season back around.
#16 Stanford @ Notre Dame

Storyline: Notre Dame is coming off of a heartbreak loss to the Michigan State Spartans. Stanford’s offense has exploded in its first three weeks leading the Cardinal to a 3-0 start.
Why You Should Watch: Brian Kelly and company are not going to take kindly to their 1-2 start. Their defense does not seem up to par, which could be a challenge taking on this Stanford offense. Expect another classic game between these two rivals as they play for the Legends Trophy.
California @ #14 Arizona

Storyline: Arizona beat the highly ranked Iowa Hawkeyes last week and California lost a tough game to Nevada. This will be the Pac-10 opener for both teams.
Why You Should Watch: after defeating the Hawkeyes at home, Arizona has received a lot of national recognition and rightfully so. The reason to watch this game is to see if they have the big win hangover. Opening up conference play against a competitive California team, puts more pressure on the Wildcats to win.
NC State @ Georgia Tech

Storyline: The 3-0 Wolfpack take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in a matchup of two ACC teams.
Why You Should Watch: NC State has played well this season and is starting to receive recognition in the polls. Georgia Tech had a tough loss to Kansas in week 2 after being #16 in the preseason. The Yellow Jackets and Wolfpack are both out to prove that they belong in the rankings in what should be a tightly contested ACC contest.

Storyline: College football’s highest scoring offense goes on the road to take on conference foe Arizona State. This is the Pac-10 opener for both teams.
Why You Should Watch: The Ducks’ offense has shown no mercy so far this season. The Sun Devils are coming off of a tough loss on the road to Wisconsin. ASU also represents the toughest opponent for the Ducks so far this season. Both teams want to start their Pac-10 schedule with a win.

Storyline: The 3-0 Mountaineers travel to Baton Rouge to take on the Tigers of LSU. Both teams are vying to move up the rankings by making a statement in this non-conference matchup.
Why You Should Watch: Both teams have looked impressive to start the season, each having some important wins over tough opponents. This is one of the weekend’s few matchups that features ranked teams. Expect a well played game between two of the nation’s top 25.

Why You Should Watch: Both teams have begun the season 3-0 and want to remain undefeated in SEC play. This is one of two big games that are being played in the SEC this weekend.

Storyline: Coming off a big win over Wyoming, the Broncos look to continue their undefeated season against the Oregon State Beavers.
Why You Should Watch: Boise State is once again taking on a nationally ranked team, except this time their opponent is coming to them. Boise State is one of the most hyped teams this season and taking on a ranked opponent should make their game that much more enticing to watch. You also have to tune in to catch a glimpse of their blue turf.

Storyline: Mark Ingram and the Crimson Tide hit the road to take on Ryan Mallet and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Why You Should Watch: This game features two of the top teams in the nation. In what is the most hyped game for week four, expect typical hard fought SEC football. This game features some of the best players in the country: Ryan Mallet and Mark Ingram to name a few. Arkansas and Alabama will definitely put on a show Saturday night.
