Who Ya Got?: Predictions For The Marquee Games Of College Football Week Three

Around this time last week, the week two schedule was labeled as Showdown Saturday or Monster Saturday but it fell flat as those games turned out to be blow outs across the nation.

First, the Crimson Tide made quick work of the young Nittany Lions when they traveled to Tuscaloosa by a score of 24-3 while the Sooners smacked around Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles by a score 47-17 in Norman.

Above those two games, the game that was up in lights on the marquee was the rematch of the 2003 Fiesta Bowl as the Miami Hurricanes visited the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The U was bitten by the turnover bug in Columbus as Terrelle Pryor led the OSU to a 36-24 victory in a game that was expected to be close to the 2003 match-up but feel well off that game.

The biggest lopsided outcome was Oregon’s trip to Knoxville as they gave the Volunteers their worst loss in the history of Neyland Stadium by a score of 48-13 Saturday night.

Arguably the best game of the weekend was the West Virginia/Marshall game from Friday night as the Mountaineers made a great comeback in final few minutes of the game that the Herd dominated from the opening kickoff.
