Milan was confused at the start. Pirlo did a mistake but it was well saved by Abbiati. Auxerre player, Langil should have done better and made Milan players life tougher.
After that, new shock for Milan. Captain Ambrosini picked up an injury and he was substitutes with Gahan's World Cup star, Kevin Prince Boateng.
Later on, Pirlo had a free kick which was Milan's only shoot on goal.
In first half time miserable draw 0-0 was a fair result. Nothing was shown from Milan superstars.
Second Halftime
In 55 min, Robinho came on for Pato, who didn't have a good game.
Milan was attacking and attacking and in 66 minute they finally scored: Ronaldinho sends in curling ball to the front, where Boateng flicks a backwards header across the face of goal to Ibrahimovic who scores for 1-0.
We didn't had to wait for new goal so long. In 69 minute magic from Ronaldinho who draws two defenders across, and plays a clever pass left to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scores a beautiful goal and makes it 2-0.
Late in the game, Milan had few more chances but Boateng and Robinho failed to score from great chances.
Auxerre definitely deserved to score at least one goal but Milan is Milan.
AC Milan deserved to win this match but Auxerre was really a tough opponent.
