5 Bold Predictions For The NBA 2010-2011: Which Sleeper Has a Chance to Win It?
Heading to the 2010-2011 NBA Season they are many questions that are going to be answered. The most common one you hear, that we sort of never get tired of. Will the Heat win an NBA Title?
The only person that can answer that is God and the start of the summer in June where the finals shall begin. Before we begin this slide show lets see what exactly is a BOLD Prediction (IMO) is a prediction we use in sports that aren't always obvious like Lakers winning a championship they have won 2 out of the 3 years so this is not certain it would happened but at least 25% of America must think they might do this.
This means a BOLD Prediction isn't so obvious but it doesn't mean its like out of the question for example Darko Milicic will win the MVP you could be a die hard Darko fan but we know this wont happen(0.00000000000000001% of America believes this.) So know lets see the 5 Bold Predictions heading into the 2010-2011 Season.
Number 5: Shaq Retires

Shaq signed for the veterans minimum with the Celtics to strengthen the Celtics poor rebounding. Which actually isn't that bad of a move after all you all should have heard the conspiracy of why Lakers won the final "rebounding."
With this new thing called rebounding brought to the Celtics they can go far. But, Shaq In my opinion, will not work out for the Celtics because he just doesn't look physically ready to go another full NBA Season furthermore, the playoffs. While Boston, is trying to find a nickname for him don't you realize his age.
One thing teams value in Shaq is the most stars as they get older they can't except being a role player Shaq can. But the reason he will retire is because he will finally realize that hes 40 overweight, and can not contribute anymore to the Celtics. He was suppose to retire after 2011-12 Season but it will be too much for him.
Number 4: LeBron Will Average a Triple Double

LeBron James Is the most complete player in the NBA and every fan and hater knows it. I personally, will admit I dislike LeBron because of his immaturity but, I have to admit this guy is special really special. He can pass like a point guard and rebound better then some Power Forward's and Centers.
While he was on the Cav's he didn't have many consistent weapons and still managed to average 8 assists. Imagine what he could do with the weapons of Chris Bosh on the 15 Foot Jumper and Dwayne Wade will Mike Miller out on the perimeter. We all know LeBron will draw the double team leaving one man open.
I see LeBron averaging a triple double because of his all around skills the Point will come easiest but, the rebounds and assists could go either way. The assist's might be hard if Dwayne Wade takes the role of a PG and the Rebounds might be a bit easier since Chris Bosh is the only real rebounder and we all know hes not very aggressive.
In the end this was probably the easiest prediction to make since LeBron is very capable of this. I think he will drop down his scoring average and take the test of averaging a triple double.
Number 3:The Heat Big 3 Become LeBron James Big 1

The heat really worked their butts off this off season acquiring the top 3 free agents. The heat only had 2 people signed to their rosters and slowly are building an efficient roster, who still needs a lot of work. The Heat have not played 1 regular season game together but already have accomplished something every team wants favorites to win the NBA Championship.
The heats main stars are LeBron Fame, Dwyane Made(Big 3), and CB Fail. These nicknames are very corny but, they have been thought out. LeBron Fame he hogs up all the headlines, Dwayne Made the big 3, and CB Fail because Chris Bosh is overrated and plays no defense giving the heat no low post defensive presence.
My third bold prediction is that the big 3 will be cut down to the big 1. My reason of thought is that, Chris Bosh only played 70 games last year and the shabby legs of his would have top play 40+ minutes unless if they find another big man.
Right now Ilgauskas and 2nd round pick Joel Anthony wont be affective down the stretch. Dwayne Wade has been injury prone throughout his career and again he will be playing 40+ minutes like the rest of the big 3 and he has been shown to be plagued with injury's. Remember when he missed all those games it was not pretty
So I predict the Heat will win lotss of game but because of LeBron dominating with CB4 and D-Wade getting injured.

Number 2:Nets Make The Playoffs

Last year the New Jersey Nets flirted with a not so hot record, the worst record in NBA History. But, a hot surge in the end and winning a game now and then helped them overcome this.
The Nets were a team with average expectation maybe a little more because simply they had a bit of talent better then some teams that had more wins he then them. You may think this is a little of tad but the Nets drafted athletic forward Derrik Favors who could develop into a star.
They also, got Troy Murphy from a trade a Big Man who can hit the jumper. They also got, Jordan Famar from free agency and Anthony Morrow not bad for additions to your team. They got Travis Outlaw so this team isn't looking too shabby and they now look like a team that can be 500. and make it to the playoffs.
Many people say the Easter Conference is stronger but after the Top 5 or 4 Teams its bottom half gives room for teams with lower expectations. So my bold prediction is that Nets make it to the playoffs but don't get past 1st round.

I am just joking I just wanted to add a slide like this and I promised no more LBJ or the Heat but it would be interesting if this could happen. After seeing of how the Cavaliers fans treated him like trash we wont see this happening unless....
Number 1: Cavaliers Win The NBA Championship

Yes this is number 1 on the list but is also a long shot most people won't see this happening except Dan Gilbert and some stubborn Cavaliers Fans. Dan Gilbert was pissed off because LBJ left the Cav's for the heat who could be. He was the life of a very sad sports town filled with betrayal and losing.
So we all know about the letter Dan Gilbert wrote promising he would get a ring before LeBron did "blah blah blah." This could happen because with LeBron James they are trash but, with enough luck maybe God will help them with this long journey.
Remember they still do have a potential star JJ Hickson, Moe Williams(Former All Star), Antawn Jamison who still can be a 20-10 guy. So that's not a bad core to begin with so good luck Cavaliers because you need a lot of luck if not Cavaliers you will have a long Season.
