University of Michigan Football Thursday: It's Getting Close

Tonight kicks off the season with a number of interesting games. I will be glued to my TV from 7:30 on, and that is for sure!

Michigan has a game in two days and it's getting so close you can feel it. Even the weather is changing. Ann Arbor is going from summer to fall in one day. The high for Saturday is expected to be 65 degrees. The high!

• Dee Hart will be in Ann Arbor on Saturday with his good friend and No. 1 Safety in the country, Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix, who has verballed to Nick Saban and Alabama. Getting both on campus at the same time is a very good thing for the Wolverines.

• If you don't know the Brock and Elliott Mealer story, I suggest you read it here. It will be a very emotional start to the game on Saturday. 

• Who is the QB? Only RR knows and he won't even tell the kid until Friday night.

• Mgoblog previews the Michigan running backs. I expect to see Vincent Smith and Michael Shaw play the most. Surprise guy is Mike Cox.
