Your Complete 2010 FBS prediction

The start of college football season is just a few days away.  Everybody wants to be the best, but when it ends in December (for all practical purposes), we won’t know who is the best.

I’ve predicted every game this season involving the 120 FBS teams, to try to figure out where everybody will end up.  More specifically, who’ll end up in Glendale and who’ll have a legitimate gripe about ending up in the wrong bowl.

Let’s look first at the conference standings, then at my projected bowl lineup. The winners of the conference title games will be marked with an asterisk.

As far as post-season predictions, I’m guessing Richmond, Grand Valley State, Mary Hardin-Baylor and Saint Xavier will win the national championships that exist.  Iowa will get the crystal football, and folks in Boise and Fort Worth will (rightly) feel cheated.
