Reporting duties took me to Ibrox today, a place where phone signals go out the window, literally. The reception on one phone was non existent, while the other required me to press the thing so far into my ear, its left an inprint of the screen on my skin.

To the match review we go. St Johnstone took the lead on 25 minutes with a superb strike from Danny Grainger from around the 15 yard mark that left Rangers keeper McGregor no chance but the Gers weren't behind for long as a well worked run down the right wing resulted in a fine cross into the box being headed goalward by Steven Naismith but the ball was saved on the line only for Sasa Papac scramble it into the net for the equalizer.

It was well into the second half before Rangers' pressure eventually bore some fruit as a perfectly weighted pass into Kenny Miller, who broke the offside trap set by the Saints' defence, and he cooly slotted home under the out rushing keeper.

It was another good performance from Scotsman Miller and although he played well, man of the match went to on loan Man City player, Vladimir Weiss.

Afterwards, while listening to Radio Scotland, all the talk was of how badly Rangers played today. I would like to say, that maybe it wasn't how badly Rangers played, it was how well Saint johnstone played that limited Rangers to the performance on show, but that's a discussion for another day.

The win for Rangers kept them top of the league with a 100% win record so far this season and their still in Europe to boot.

Final Score from Ibrox, Rangers 2 St Johnstone 1.
