Manchester United Vs. West Ham: Top 10 Clashes from 2000-2010
This Saturday Manchester United will play against West Ham United at Old Trafford.

The only goal from West Ham was by Paulo Wanchope in the 11th minute.
After that, there were a flood of goals in West Ham's net by the Red Devils.
Paul Scholes scored a hat trick.
West Ham Rejuvenated in 2001

On 8 December 2001, Manchester United lost to West Ham while the latter was playing an away game.
The only goal of the game came from West Ham United's Jermain Defoe, the current forward of Tottenham Hotspur.
The final scoreline stood at Man Utd 0-1 West Ham.
Defoe finished as the highest scorer in the season of 2001-02 for West Ham despite being used as a substitute for the Hammers.
West Ham Fumbles Again in 2002

David Beckham scored the double for United with a final scoreline of West Ham 3-5 Man Utd.
The Hammers lost under manager Glenn Roeder in their home Upton Park.
Scholes also scored for United, while Defoe and Frederic Kanoute did for West Ham.

Maybe I should have written the title as United "Choke-Slammed" West Ham with a loud and clear 6-0 scoreline at Old Trafford.
Ruud van Nistelrooy scored a double for United, and Ryan Giggs did as well.
Surely that is the reason why we say van Nistelrooy was one of the most lethal weapons of United and Giggs is the heartthrob, still Giggs is.
This was a FA Cup fourth round game to mention.
I must also remind you of then-United goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, who got a large number of clean sheets by that time.
West Ham Loses Again in 2005

West Ham lost to United again in 2005 after being absent for a season in Premiership.
Wayne Rooney and John O'Shea scored for United, while Marlon Harewood scored for West Ham.

Alan Pardew was the new manager for the Hammers, while the Red Devils were guided by the same old magician Sir Alex Ferguson.
Manchester United Loses to West Ham in 2006

United lost the game in Upton Park with the final scoreline as West Ham 1-0 Man Utd.
Nigel Reo Coker scored the only goal in the match.

The funny part was Tevez was playing for Manchester United in the second match, as Sir Alex landed him in the summer transfer window.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a double for United, while Dean Ashton scored the only goal for West Ham.
The other scorers for United were Carlos Tevez and Michael Carrick.
