NFL Two-A-Days: Dallas Cowboys 2010 Season Preview
This idea originated from ESPN's Mike & Mike. I will now preview the Dallas Cowboys.
1.) Was QB Tony Romo's strong stretch run in 2009 a fluke or a sign of things to come?
He seems to be really hated for some reason, even among some Cowboy fans. I actually think it was a sign of things to come because he has all the tools. He's got a good arm, very mobile and slowly takes leadership of this team.

2.) Is RB Felix Jones ready to be the man in the Cowboys backfield?
Coming out of Arkansas, he wasn't considered the best running back on his own team. Looking back we all know Felix Jones is going to be a better pro than Darren McFadden, right? He has the speed to burn a defense at any time and be the Cowboys' feature running back. Marion Barber will be the short yardage back, while Tashard Choice will be a change of pace and catch some passes out of the backfield.
3.) Does the addition of Dez Bryant make Dallas' wide receiving core the best in the league?
Certainly near the top. Miles Austin proved last season he is the go-to-guy. He has a physical side yet is very fast. Roy Williams needs to do more than he's done since the trade from Detroit. Even if he doesn't produce like he should, he's a good number three or four wideout. Dez Bryant may be the most talked about rookie since...well, Tim Tebow. Barring a trade, Patrick Crayton gives this team another viable option. At tight end, Jason Witten is Tony Romo's security blanket and Martellus Bennett could start for most teams.
4.) Can Wade Phillips get more big plays out of his defensive unit?
My views on Wade Phillips aside, this defense is elite.
You start with one of the best nose tackles in the NFL: Jay Ratliff in the middle. Marcus Spears had his breakout year in 2009, can he prove he wasn't a one year wonder? Igor Olshanski didn't miss a beat after signing as a free agent from San Diego.
DeMarcus Ware may be the best linebacker in the NFL. Bradie James and Kieth Brooking add a veteran presence to this defense. Although as a Falcons fan, I could tell Brooking had slowed down a few years ago. The Cowboys might want to think about grooming rookie Sean Lee to replace Brooking sooner rather than later. Anthony Spencer came on late last season and ended up matching Ware's playmaking ability.
Mike Jenkins and Terrance Newman create the best cornerback tandem in the league. That's right, after previewing almost every NFL team I think this tandem is the best. Alan Ball is a question mark for this defense, as he replaces Ken Hamlin. Gerald Sensabaugh will be good enough in 2010 to hold down his starting spot.
5.) The Dallas Cowboys' record will be...
11-5, first in the NFC East.
