Miami Hurricanes: All-Pro NFL U
The Miami Hurricanes are built on a tradition of hard work and loyalty. Come to Coral Gables in the spring and summer and you will see All-Pro NFL stars working out with their fellow Canes. Its a tradition that was started in the 1980s and carries on today.
The Canes have a brotherhood. Once a Cane, always a Cane. And players come back, every summer to work hard, teach the youth, share their knowledge.
The U, has not only put players in the NFL, but they have put impact players in the league. That is what puts Miami at the forefront to represent as NFL U.
Just this January, The U, was represented with 11 players at the Pro Bowl. The Hurricanes are so good at putting out talent that most non-bias fans would take the currently still playing ALL-U team against any team in the league today.
Current NFL stars:
Clinton Portis - RB2
Willis McGahee - RB3

Fill in the blanks with whoever you want, even without a QB, this team would have the chance to be special. This is only the best of current players.
If you go the historical way and look all-time UM team. That team would be so good that players like Wayne can't even get on the field. Wilfork would also ride the bench and watch Kennedy, Brown, and Sapp go to work. Their linebacker core would include Hendricks(HOF), Lewis, Armstead, Morgan, Vilma, Beason...the list goes on-and-on.
Who could score on that front seven?
As for the 2010 Canes, they have their swagger back, but how long can they hold on to it and will it translate to wins? Will UM be able to continue maintaining that pipeline of stars to the NFL?
I say yes, but I would be happier with an ACC crown and a national championship.
