Arsenal: English Premier League Season Preview
With the Premier League season now rapidly approaching, I have decided to take a look at each of the 20 sides that will be playing at the top level of English football during this upcoming season.
I have decided to actually go in reverse order, with Wolverhampton starting the list off and Arsenal concluding it right before the start of the Premier League season.
In the 20th and final installment of this series, I will look at Arsenal, which finished third in the Premier League last season and finished another season trophy-less but still were able to take tremendous strides and get better.

Review of Last Season
Arsenal were able to get off and running last season with a 6-1 win over Everton to start the season, and the Gunners continued to play great football throughout the season.
Despite multiple major injury blows, Arsenal hung tough, but in the end inefficient goalkeeping proved to be a major problem as Arsenal finished third.

Major Questions Going into This Season:
1. Can Manuel Almunia show some consistency this year?
One of Arsenal's biggest problems over the last several seasons has been the goalkeeping position, as Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski have been inconsistent to say the least.
This season, Arsene Wegner has stated that that he has faith in his goalkeepers, so it will be interesting to see if Almunia and Fabianski can reward him for this faith.
2. How will Cesc Fabregas be received by the Arsenal faithful?
After the recent Cesc Fabregas-to-Barcelona transfer news that dragged on throughout the summer, the Arsenal captain will remain for at least this season instead of moving to Barcelona.
I don't think that Cesc will be positively received by Arsenal fans at the beginning of the season, as he wanted out, but his play will help make him a fan favorite at the Emirates again this season.
3. Can Arsenal avoid getting major injuries?
Last season Arsenal experienced major injuries to Cesc Fabregas, Aaron Ramsey, Robin van Persie, and others as the injury bug really ended any chance of Arsenal winning the Premier League.
Right now, I don't think that the injury bug will hit Arsenal as hard this season, as these players will look to stay healthier throughout the season as Arsenal look for silverware.
4. Can Arsenal win a trophy this season?
Since 2005 Arsenal have gone trophy-less, and the Gunners have continuously been disappointed since moving into Emirates Stadium.
This season, Arsenal will win a major trophy during the season, as this squad is more than developed enough and will be hungrier than ever to win some silverware.
