EPL Transfers: Bargain Buys at Man City
Manchester City are currently locked in transfer talks with Inter Milan to sign Mario Balotelli.
Should the Inter Milan striker sign for the Blues of Manchester, City will have 38 players on their books. This would have been seen as a squad with great depths in the past, but not this season.
The Premier League's new rules states that every team in the English Premier League have to enter a squad of 25 players maximum, with eight players being homegrown included in the team.

All is expecting a mass exodus from Man City soon after Balotelli signs. Players that are expected to leave the club are as follows:
Onuoha, Caceido, Gonzalez (GK), Etuhu, Boyata.
These lesser known players could leave at any price, or be released by the club. But still, Mancini has to trim about eight players and this is where a really good bargain could be found.
Micheal Johnson- £2mil
Steven Ireland- £10mil max
Shaun Wright-Phillips- £4mil
Roque Santa Cruz- £4mil
Craig Bellamy- £5mil
Nigel DeJong- £10-15mil
Jo looks like he has won a place at City, especially after his impressive form in preseason. Balotelli will be the new striker. It is unknown whether Mancini will continue to spend afterwards. Various reports claim Milner will sign soon, but any new players coming in means desperation to get rid of current squad players.
According to various reports, this is how much some of the players listed could go for. Craig Bellamy and Ireland and Wright-Phillips are the names that stand out the most and their price will be a very good buy for any club.
City may spend, spend, and spend, but money will not win you the title. The new rules give restrictions to clubs, especially if key players are injured during the season.
One thing is sure though, this season is to be the most exciting yet for the Premier League.
A new look Mancini for a new look City side!
