LeBron James Made the Right Decision
Following "The Decision" last night, I've heard a lot of comments along the lines of "Well now you can stop comparing him to MJ or Kobe"...GOOD, I don't think he'll care.
What people don't seem to realise is that LeBron isn't like Kobe; he's like Magic, a playmaker.
To fulfill his potential, LeBron needs shooters and scorers around him. With the Heat now having more weapons than Gilbert Arenas' locker, he could potentially average a triple-double and lead the team.
James could keep the ball in his hands and make plays for his All-Star teammates. He wouldn't be the top scorer, but he could still grab 20 a night with ease along with double-figure assists and rebounds.
There would be no power struggle, with the pressure off him having to make every shot lifted, he could go above and beyond the level we've seen him at before.
As a side note, I'd also like to say that I don't see where Dan Gilbert and certain Cavs fans get off slamming James, Gilbert in particular.
If it wasn't for LeBron James, no one would fill the seats in Cleveland and no one outside of Ohio would have a clue who the hell Dan Gilbert was.
As for some of the fans who have been pictured burning James' jersey, well frankly they're just morons; no wonder he decided to leave when he sees idiots like them back in his hometown.
You can bet that when the Heat travel to Cleveland, James will undoubtedly be booed, which is my opinion is absurd. Sure he left but he had every right to, he doesn't owe them anything.
LeBron James put Cleveland on the world map and when he returns, he deserves nothing short of a standing ovation.
The Miami Heat will win the NBA Championship next year and probably the following four, and LeBron's move will be justified when he retires as the greatest all-around player in NBA history.
His "decision" shall be justified.
