LeBron James to New York? Chad Ochocinco and Jared Dudley Tweet Big Apple Rumors
The LeBron James sweepstakes will officially end tomorrow night.
That's right, on ESPN a press conference will be held at 9 p.m. to end rumors and speculations about where LeBron will finally sign. Several teams feel as if they have a realistic shot to land "The King," including Miami, Chicago, New York, and of course the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In what has been the most publicly covered and analyzed free agency period in NBA history, the biggest name, LeBron, has yet to sign with any team.
After he had the opportunity to hear pitches and interviews with six individual teams over the past week, LeBron will finally end the most dramatic and hyped decision the basketball world has probably seen.
Although LeBron won't "officially" make his decision public until tomorrow, two tweets have caused many to believe that he will eventually end up with the New York Knicks.
The first tweet, from Phoenix Sun's player Jared Dudley, specifically caught everyone's attention on Twitter today: "Breaking News!!! My sources tell me LeBron will announce that he will be goin to the NY KNICKS tomorrow on ESPN.. This is serious.. WOW!!!!"
The second tweet, from Cincinnati Bengal's wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, stated: "#OCNNBREAKINGNEWS *Empire State of Mind* *wink* *wink*only the smart folk will put this together and figure out what i am talking about #6"
Only time will tell, but it seems that both of these players have valid sources close to LeBron that have disclosed his decision.
If these tweets are true, then it will be just another reason for Cleveland fans to cringe in their seats and for New York Knicks' fans to get excited about the upcoming season!
