Report: Sign-and-Trade Deal Involving Chris Bosh Seems "Unlikely"
NBA Free Agency has hit day three in full stride.
With LeBron James and Dwayne Wade concluding meetings today, the biggest wild card out there is Chris Bosh.
Bosh has been linked to the Nets, Knicks, Bulls, and Heat, but has also received interest in a possible sign-and-trade deal from the Mavericks, Rockets, and a few other teams.
However, you can put those possibilities to rest.
According to ESPN.com, the Toronto Raptors are "unlikely" to do a sign-and-trade involving Chris Bosh.
There are a few points that catch my eye here. For one, the Raptors could be doing this out of spite to Chris Bosh.
After all, Bosh didn't want to return, and management doesn't feel they have the need to help him.
Still, it wouldn't have hurt to get something in return for Bosh instead of losing him altogether.
