NBA Free Agency 2010: LeBron James Manipulating the System With D-Wade

We all know this is one of the most monumental free agencies in NBA history.

The face of the NBA will be forever changed after the conclusion of this frenzy.

I'm not only saying this because there will be plenty of new faces in new cities. I'm saying this because LeBron James has proven that one player can dictate the outcome of a free agency.

He truly is "King James."

He has set a deadline for when he wants to be signed, all teams have to come to him in order to negotiate with him, and it appears that he has Dwayne Wade in on this as well.

Do you think the reports are true about Dwayne Wade meeting with the Chicago Bulls just to distract them from LeBron James having talks with other teams?

I wouldn't put it past James or Wade.

The two were an unstoppable duo for the United States during the Olympics. Why not look to create that magic again on a regular basis?

If I was either player, I would certainly look to do the same thing.

As I watch this free agency unfold, I am amazed at how two men's future destinations have monopolized media attention.

I don't think I have ever seen a free agency so discussed and anticipated before.

This is truly a remarkable time for sports and will be bookmarked in the long novel that is NBA history.

This being said, I also don't think I have ever seen two players manipulate the system as much as James and Wade.

I don't think any of us know for sure where James and Wade will end up.

We can predict and discuss all we want, but none of us actually know what will happen except two people, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade.

They are weighing out their options as I write this article, and I can assure you that these two players will end up on the same team.

Which team that will be, as I said before, no one actually knows.

All the experts in the world couldn't get a straight answer from these two.

We are all just going to have to wait and watch as these two superstars toy with the free agency system until they find the best option for them both.

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade have victimized us all, and there's no point in predicting and discussing their futures together, because we will all know soon enough.

When this is all said and done, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade will be laughing all the way to the bank with championship rings wrapped around their fingers.
