NBA Free Agency Rumors Day 1 (A.M.)

It’s the first official day of free agency, and so far nothing concrete has happened. It’s only been about 7 hours since it started, yet we do have some strong rumors floating around.

Over these past few hours the Clippers were granted permission to be one of the teams LeBron will get to talk to. They will be one of the many teams to present to him in these upcoming days.

Pat Riley is already on the move, with meetings scheduled with Amare Stoudemire, Joe Johnson, and Boozer.

There has been talk that Al Jefferson of the Timberwolves has requested a trade, and two teams to be rumored with interest could be Dallas and Denver.

Chris Bosh has been actively meeting with teams already, and seems to be enjoying this quite a bit. He has been posting comments on twitter throughout this process, which has shown the level of excitement that even the players are getting from this.

Reports are also surfacing that Byron Scott will be the next head coach. I thought Tom Izzo was going to be? Wait, I though Brian Shaw was in contract negotiations? I guess we will just have to wait until this is 100% done to assume anything.
