USA Loses a Heartbreaker To Ghana 2-1

After an impressive run by the US soccer team, it has come to an end.

USA lost to Ghana 2-1 in the round of 16. It was a hard-fought loss, that in the end left a sour taste in some people's mouths. W

ith all the flops and dives by the last African team left, Ghana was hard to watch.

It was a slow painful death and everyone watching it felt it.

But still we have to give the US soccer team a round of applause for how far its come. This team at the beginning of the tournament was looked over and nobody thought they would be this much of a threat.

If it wasn't for a couple of bad calls in the Algeria and Slovenia games, the US could be on a roll with two wins and all the momentum going into this game against Ghana.

This World Cup has come to an end for the US and they should have gotten farther in it. Part of it is their fault but officiating did nothing for them at all.

Two horrible calls and another ref watching Ghana take its sweet time. Not only that how much flopping in the last 10 minutes of the game was there. 

There were at least five players who stayed down and took their time to get out of the game. Once they were on the sidelines they stood right up and came back into the game perfectly fine.

Overall, the World Cup was great to watch and the US did a great job. Sure they should have done better here and there, but after so many bad calls I can't blame it on them entirely.

So FIFA lets step it up and take a look at these calls. Lets do something about the diving and flopping, because its just ridiculous and ugly.
