FIFA World Cup 2010: France Deserved To Go Home

France when down to South Africa 2-1 to at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung it was match that was always expected to be dominated by the french however this was not so has the South Africans came to the game with a goal in sight has the french seemed to have taken there eyes of the ball it was and disappointing result from the french and they could have done much better with the talent at there disposal.

I believe the main reason for the teams disappointing form is has direct result of the polices of the coach Raymond Domenech who it is reported has just picking a set of players and then expects them (Team) to just gel together, i am not saying players must decide who is selected to play on a team but some input of the players must be taken into consideration and as we understand this had not be done.

What I cannot understand is why player such as Flamini were not selected to the squad who would  be the engine of the team a good passer of the ball and very good defensive midfielder who help at the back if necessary.

Samir Nasri who is good on the wings was also not selected to the squad a player with good technical ability and speed was pass over.

Selecting forwards was also i faulty has people such as Bafettimbi Gomes who is young player with speed and finishing ability was pass over for the likes of Nicholas Anelka who is somebody who is player who is older and his likely slower than Gomes and you would have had two Senior players already in Henry and Govou, so you would not need another senior player.

But all the blame cannot be placed squarely at the feet of Domenech who it seems had a hand full to deal with in these players who in my view should all not be chosen to play for france in the coming years, I think this should be considered my the FFF and the coaching staff.

No matter how you disagree with decision by the management of the team you should not abandon your country on the biggest stage of them all or seem to be doing that.
