FIFA World Cup 2010: Mark Gonzalez Goal Gives Chile 1-0 Win Over Switzerland
So far two teams have won at least one match in group H of the World Cup.
And today, in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, Chile and Switzerland met in an encounter that ended in a 1-0 win for Chile.
Starting off the match, striker Humberto Suazo returned to the Chilean starting lineup after injuring his ankle in a recent friendly.

During the COMMEBOL qualifying, Gonzalez scored 12 goals, more goals than anyone else in South America.
But Suazo was ineffective at first (he got a caution just two minutes into the match), and he continued to play terribly throughout the half.
But regardless of Suazo's performance, Chile continued to move forward, and were threatening Swiss keeper Diego Benaglio early and often.
La Roja got a major break in the 30th minute as head referee Khalil Al Ghamdi sent off Valon Behrami for elbowing Arturo Vidal with a very controversial red card.
After the sending off, Chile continued to dominate the first half, but were not able to score.
In the second half, Chile decided that Suazo had done enough and brought on Jorge Valdivia to replace him.
As the half progressed, Alexis Sanchez had a goal ruled out after it redirected off of an offside Mark Gonzalez, but Chile continue to get their chances.
In the 75th minute, the Swiss World Cup record of 558 minutes without conceding a goal ended as Esteban Paredes was able to beat the offsides trap and make a beautiful cross to Gonzalez, who headed the ball home to give Chile a 1-0 lead.
After the goal, the Swiss started to attack despite being down a man. Chile continued to get some great chances but never were able to convert them in to goals.
In stoppage time, Eren Derdiyok got a fantastic chance to tie the match at one for the Swiss, but his shot from about 13 yards out went wide.
As a result, Chile are now on top of Group H with six points, while Switzerland have three points, and are in second (although that may change after Spain plays Honduras).
Chile's next match will be against Spain on June 25th at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
Switzerland's next match will also be on June 25th, but it will be against Honduras at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
