World Cup 2010: England Disappionting Draw but We're Better Than France
England have another unimaginative and nervy performance against Algeria, pick up just a single point again. Where has the England side from qualification gone?
After drawing their opening game of this World Cup against the USA, England were expected to walk past the Algerians and get all three points.
The Three Lions struggled against supposedly inferior opposition. Now they will probably have to win their final game against Slovenia unless results go their way.

Fabio Capello dropped goalkeeper Robert Green, after his famous error against the United States in their first game, and put the experienced David James in goal.
The team that we saw at Wembley for the qualification matches seem to have not made the trip to South Africa.
After 70 minutes of the game, I felt like leaving the sofa and playing on the xbox (or another games console,) so that England would actually look good.
People left work early, there were traffic jams, packed pubs and empty shops. Millions were near a TV watching the match.
What a waste of 90 minutes!
I, along with the rest of England, have been boasting that this is our year, and that we are going to win the tournament. I will be surprised if they make it to the quarter finals.
The highlight of the game was a bird. Yes, that right, a bird sitting on the net!
I was planning to write an article on how well England played, but i threw that out the window.
Wayne Rooney was named as England's main man; the man who would win us the cup, couldn't control the ball.
On many occasions, Rooney's first touch was terrible, he tripped over the ball whilr running, and he ran into players and got tackled.
Emile Heskey is Emile Heskey. He is rubbish anyway. He couldn't control, he couldn't pass, he couldn't run or even shot.
The team can not blame their performance on altitude or the weather. It was at night, and during Winter in South Africa. Altitude didn't cause any problem as it was at sea level.
They can only blame themselves, or Fabio Capello.
The Italian stuck with the same boring 4-4-2 formation. When he want to mix things up in the second half, he did a straight swap. For a better attack we brought Defoe on for Heskey.
Why not start Jermaine or Peter Crouch? And what about Joe Cole?
It was yet another moment in English football, where the whole nation hopes and expects but get nothing from the team ...
At least were not in like other Europeans teams today — Spain and Germany both lost.
France on the other hand have taken another step back. After drawing their first game, they then lost their second against Mexico. It is almost certain that Les Bleus will not get any further than the group stages ...... serves them right!
