However, with the first big surprise of the tournament, Switzerland beat Spain 1-0 in Durban.
With the likes of Torres, Alonso, and Xavi, you wonldn't expect them to lose to the Swiss.

Spain dominated play, but the final product was never a goal. Shot after shot was blocked, saved or went wide.

Switzerland have now ended Spain's record of 37 games unbeaten against European teams.
Spain are now at the bottom of group H with Honduras, and have a lot to do if they even want to come in second.
No team has ever lost their first game, and gone on to win the tournament.
After just 90 minutes of the World Cup finals, Spain have pretty much said goodbye to the chance of lifting the Cup this time.
