FIFA World Cup 2010: Wayne Rooney Hits Back at Clint Dempsey
Wayne Rooney has hit back at USA "star" Clint Dempsey, by telling him: We should have buried you.
Dempsey got all big-head recently and felt smug after holding England to a 1-1 draw. He struck a blow for the Three Lions yesterday, by saying he could smell fear in his opponents.
After one game, the pompas git (excuse my language) thinks he is the creme of the crop. However, he is just a good player in a mediocre team.

The USA didn't deserve that point, it was just a fluke goal that happens once in a goal keeper's career.
Rooney is taking no notice of the Fulham player and says England was good enough to have gotten all three points on the night.
"We started very well and we deserved to win."
"Overall we did enough to win the game—but unfortunately, we didn't."
"We have players who can score goals for us, but for us to do well I need to play a bit better than I did and score goals.
"But I don't feel under any pressure, as long as the team does well."
Rooney, who has never scored at the World Cup Finals, admits he is carrying the nation's hopes on his shoulders, and his goals will determine how far England will go.
"We should have buried them."
Clint Dempsey is not the only person to have put their boot in.
German legend Franz Beckenbauer claims that Capello and the England team has resorted to "kick and rush" football.
Rooney has an opinion on him too.
"Beckenbauer is entitled to his opinion."
"We don't really listen to what he has to say. He can say what he wants, and think what he wants.
"But we certainly don't play kick and run, so we don't really take notice of his comments."
To be honest, of the people who have hit out at England, one is a player who will never touch the World Cup and the other one is German.
I wonder what they will say when England goes on to lift the trophy.
