Big 12 Realignment: Texas to Stay, Will Agree on a 10-Team Conference
Update From The New York Times on Twitter: Pete Thamel- " Big 12 AD confirms to the NY Times that Texas is on cusp of committing to Big 12. He said, "The musical chairs will stop."
Latest Update: Chip Brown says chances of Big 12 staying are increasing by the minute. He also still sticks by his story 100%. Says it is " unreal" what is happening right now with the state of Texas and the Big 12.
As orangebloods.com Chip Brown said moments ago, there is another bombshell in the realignment of college football.
This time, it seems that Texas is staying put in the Big 12.
According to Brown via his twitter, the university is agreeing to stay within the conference that will hold ten teams.
As reported a day ago, the Big 12 is offering more money than before, along with individual sports networks for the universities.
The conference seemed finished about five days ago when Nebraska moved to the Big Ten, followed by Colorado to the Pac-10.
Then, Oklahoma, and even Texas, was ready to lead a rush to the Pac-10.
Well, at least it seemed that way.
So in the end, will we have another realignment change? Will the Big 12 be able to keep the other teams together, or will they see new light in other conferences?
