Good Looking

The defining characteristic about Cristiano Ronaldo is his appearance.

I've been studying in the U.K, Canada and Europe and also travel a lot. He is an accepted standard for the maximum of male attractiveness across cultures and continents.

He is so good looking that heterosexual men think, "That's a good looking dude."

When heterosexual men of below average or normal attractiveness see an extremely good looking male, they have one of two responses to it.

Some, not all, because of their own insecurity, they look for flaws, to make themselves feel better.

But Ronaldo is one of the hardest workers, has a true love for the game and has an extreme wellspring of talent. 

To these people, I say, overcome your insecurities. Just accept the great things about each player like you do with everybody else and you will learn that you will learn to accept yourself as well and be happier.

"Diver"

a. Any player or follower of football over the years know that players of the highest caliber who are transcendently quick and/or tall are encouraged and ordered to dive, because of the incendiary natures of defenders and how they try to injure from the earliest ages. You only have to look up, George Best, Pele, Maradona, Van Basten and other players of transcendent speed to see that they dived also.

Messi's Better

b. Let me preface this by saying, Messi is without doubt in the top two players, but how can he be appointed the best, when his flaws do not get near the attention, that Ronaldo's does. The people I have mentioned above, cannot come to praise Ronaldo, so they mention his flaws.

In turn, they dont mention Messi's short stature, liability in the air, how he does not play nearly as well if he is not surrounded by the incredible midfield in Barca.

This gets paid three percent of the total press he gets, compared with 80 percent of Ronaldo's flaws.

That is just not fair. In fairness, Messi has a certain genius when dribbling, but I would also counter that, Cristiano is faster than him, even though he is eight inches taller.

If Cristiano was 5'9", he would be the greatest player ever, because of the low center of gravity with his speed would give him an even better change of direction than Messi.

Cultural Icon

From 2006-2009, everywhere you went in university bars and clubs, you saw the  Cristiano Ronaldo faux-hawk.

Let's make clear how terrible this hair cut is, but Ronaldo pulled it off and because women accept him as the ultimate sex symbol, it became not only acceptable but a phenomenon. Add that to Cristiano's metrosexual flamboyant dressing and general attitude

I personally did not get it, but it was incredible to see one guy's influence over the youth culture. It does not get reported, and you might not participate in it, but it was and is still going strong.

Every girl below the age of 22, knows him. I guarantee it. And I believe men do too.

And what I want to say is, please, accept things instead of criticizing something because of your own psychological needs.

Insecurity can be solved by just acceptance that the world is diverse and there are people of varying talents and you yourself are unique and talented in your own right and have or will find love. It allows you to accept other people and be a better person.

Just enjoy the good things.
