So who should be loaned?
1. Jack Wilshere-Premier League
Touted as the next huge thing in world football and the spearhead of Arsenal future.,Wilshere enjoyed a stellar loan spell at Bolton last campaign and many feel another short or long term spell would aid the English teen even further. Bolton are reportedly eager to enjoy the Arsenal scholars services for another season.
This seems intelligent as it is unclear whether he has a valid place in the Arsenal squad. A consecutive spell paying consistent Premier League football will ensure Jack Wilshere continues his rapid development.
2. Nacer Barazite-Premier League
The Dutch midfielder had an impressive loan spell during 2008/2009 but unfortunately injury halted his attempt at becoming a genuine first team member. However the 20-year-old has recovered and a Premier League loan spell looks a wise option.
A promoted club could surely use the Dutchman speed and balance as well as impressive creativity. Furthermore, Barazite is versatile, able to play anywhere along the midfield as well as the second striker.
3. Vito Mannone-Premier League, La Liga, Serie A
Bursted onto the English footballing scene when Arsenal were short on keepers and made a deep impact after a memorable, courageous performance against Fulham. One of the keeping prospects of the future the Italian would greatly benefit a loan spell where he is the first choice keeper. It is unlikely "The Don" will receive a great deal of playing time next season with Wenger set to sign a new keeper.
4. Lukasz Fabianski-Premier League, La Liga, Serie A
After a horrendous 2009/2010, deputy keeper Lukasz Fabianski requires a loan spell to regain some confidence and respect. The error-prone Polish keeper had a number of lacklustre performers last season which included a huge amount of mistakes.
A short spell as a first choice keeper would surely ensure the former Legia Warsaw shot stopper can show his potential and gain more experience.
5. Francis Coquelin-Championship, La Liga
Touted as the next Patrick Vieira/Claude Makelele, Francis Coquelin was given limited opportunities in 2009/2010 but showed he does have the potential to become a strong defensive midfield with added versatility.
Rumours have it that Wenger is keen to offer the Frenchman in a loan deal for Lorient's Laurent Koscienly.
6. Sanchez Watts-Championship
A pacey, tricky forward who can be a handful to defend. A prolific performer for the Arsenal reserves and youth, Watts had two short spells in 2009/2010 and performed credibly at both. Now it is time for Watts to take on a season long loan spell at a team in the Championship.
Watts is another spearhead of the Arsenal future and with the likes of Barazite, Gavin Hoyte, Kerrea Gilbert, all benefiting from their long term spells it would surely aid Sanchez Watts.
7. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas-Premier League, Championship
The 20-year-old who made his senior Arsenal début last season also had a stellar loan spell with Blackpool and Doncaster. Considered as one of the next big English midfielders, a loan spell in the Championship or possibly a short one in the Premier League looks necessary for "JET."
8. Gilles Sunu-Championship, Ligue 1
The imposing French striker also made his début last season and although he will be relishing more opportunities in the red and white, a long-term spell looks a better option. Built with pace, power, and elegance, Sunu is set to be a big strike force for Arsenal in years to come.
9. Rhys Murphy-Championship
Injury has hampered the development of Rhys Murphy but the speedy forward has talented and after a unsuccessful stint with Brentford last season, the Englishman will be keen for a longer, more fulfilling spell in 2010/2011.
Murphy is yet to really prove his capability in the Arsenal squad and an impressive loan spell could enable him to become a part of the Arsenal roster.
10. Luke Freeman-Championship, League One
Signed from Gillingham having already made his début as a 15-year-old, Freeman is a promising striker who enjoyed a strong season in the reserves and youth. The Englishman is now ready to take his first loan spell and continue his outstanding development.
