Serie A Week 38: Sunday Matches Short Previews

Bari vs Fiorentina

Bari have confidently solidified their position in Serie A and the position they hold is possibly the best that they could’ve hoped at the starting of the season.

Fiorentina, on the other hand, are certain to be disappointed and with nothing left to play for they’re likely to field a weakened side even if it could be very important for them to end the season on a high note.

Fiorentina have clinched just one victory from their last eight games which is not exactly a friendly statistic, it is quite possible that even if they field a full strength side this match could still go to Bari.


Chievo vs Roma

Roma are only two points behind Inter in the title race, although even a win here isn’t likely to secure them the top spot, they’ll have to hope that Sienna beat Inter, which isn’t something that many people are likely to bet on.

On the other hand, a win for Roma does seem like the most plausible outcome of this match up as haven’t exactly performed fantastically at home this season winning only 6 of their matches there so far.

Roma are likely to play for an early goal then try to shut up shop as taking any chances in this match would be ludicrous under the circumstances.

Siena vs Inter Milan

This is Inter Milan’s opportunity to push for the treble. However a loss will almost certainly hand the title over to Roma. Siena aren’t going to pose to much threat to Inter, there home form has been abysmal (only four wins all season) and whilst they may be in the same league, the teams are by no means the same class.

We should expect to see Milan dominate every aspect of this match. Siena are a down and out club, relegation is certain and whilst the club can only hope to finish the season on a high the chances of that happening this weekend are slim to none.
