NEGATIVES:
—Can lose his original angle on the ball-carrier.
—Struggles vs. bigger ball-carriers.

OVERALL:
LeCounte is an undersized safety with good athleticism, but he lacks the top-end speed needed. He is a ball hawk who attacks the ball in the air with his hands. Because of his size, he lacks in run support, often getting stiff-armed by bigger backs, though he does play with good instincts and feel.
Ultimately, in coverage, Richard struggles unless he's in deep centerfield. Although he most likely wouldn't be asked to play there much he may struggle in the box. As the size and speed increase at the next level, LeCounte may be relegated to a small role.
GRADE: 6.5/10 (Career Backup/Rotational Player—Round 6)
OVERALL RANK: 243/300
POSITION RANK: S22
PRO COMPARISON: Derron Smith
