Chris Bosh's Mother Files Suit Against Former NBA PF for Trying to Evict Her
Chris Bosh has reportedly been sued by his mother, Freida, for allegedly trying to evict her from her home.
According to The Blast's Daniel Goldblatt and Ryan Naumann, court filings show Freida says Chris misrepresented papers he had her sign in 2005 relating to the ownership of her home in DeSoto, Texas.
The documents, which she says she thought related to her divorce from Chris' father Noel, allegedly transferred sole ownership of the home to Chris. Since then, she says the 11-time NBA All-Star "has tried to evict her and continues to try and withhold the home from her."
Freida is reportedly suing for ownership of the home and unspecified damages.
In December, TMZ Sports reported Bosh's mother was listed as a suspect in a drug trafficking case after police in DeSoto said "a large amount of drug paraphernalia was recovered consistent with narcotics trafficking" at the home in question.
Freida was later arrested after police said she exploited a disabled man and used his disability checks to pay rent.
