Jerry Jones Gives Jason Witten Diamond-Covered Football as Retirement Present

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones provided Jason Witten with a memorable parting gift Thursday as the tight end announced his retirement.
According to TMZ Sports, Jones gave Witten a football covered in diamonds to thank him for his 15 seasons with the Cowboys. Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News shared a look at the gift:

The NFL passed along comments from Witten regarding his retirement on Thursday:
ESPN.com's Todd Archer reported Witten will join ESPN’s broadcast of Monday Night Football.
The 11-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro finishes his career as one of the best tight ends of his generation. He recorded 1,152 catches for 12,448 yards and 68 touchdowns.
