With the 2018 FIFA World Cup approaching, Brazil maintained their No. 2 spot. Belgium, meanwhile, moved up two places into third, per FIFA:

Belgium's move up the rankings means UEFA Euro 2016 champions Portugal have slipped down to fourth and Argentina now sit fifth.

The Albiceleste endured mixed results in the recent international break, beating Italy 2-0 before being thrashed 6-1 by Spain.

Julen Lopetegui's La Roja side looked hugely impressive against Argentina and are arguably performing better than their No. 8 ranking might suggest.

Switzerland and France have both moved up two places into sixth and seventh, respectively, while Chile and Poland complete the top 10.

England are ranked No. 13 in the world having moved up three after beating the Netherlands and drawing with Italy in March.

The United States are down at No. 24 in the rankings, just behind Sweden and one ahead of Costa Rica.
