Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez's Late Goal Rescues Point for West Ham vs. Chelsea

Chelsea had to settle for a 1-1 draw against West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as a late goal from substitute Javier Hernandez cancelled out Cesar Azpilicueta's opener.

The Blues dominated the game but were made to pay for not converting their chances, as Hernandez fired past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to secure a precious point for the struggling Hammers.

Chelsea Pay Tribute to Ray Wilkins

Chelsea paid tribute to their former midfielder Ray Wilkins, who died on Wednesday, before Sunday's game as they held a minute of applause and players wore black armbands.

Chicharito Punishes Chelsea Again

Hernandez made his name in the Premier League as a super-sub at Manchester United, and Chelsea were a frequent victim of his efforts off the bench.

The Mexican seems to thrive against the Blues, as he arrived on 70 minutes and levelled the match just three minutes later.

Marko Arnautovic deserves plenty of credit for his neat cutback, but Hernandez once again showed his goalscoring ability with a fine finish that gave Courtois no chance.

Joe Hart Offers a Reminder of His Quality

West Ham goalkeeper Joe Hart has endured a really tough season in east London but managed to give everyone a reminder of his qualities with a fine display.

Hart saved superbly from Willian prior to Chelsea's opener, but he also made great saves from Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud.

Hart seemed to have lost his place in the England team because of his lack of involvement at West Ham in recent months. However, this was a performance that will help his chances of being involved at the FIFA 2018 World Cup.

What's Happened to Hazard?

Chelsea are on a poor run of form with just two wins in their last eight games in all competitions as their season completely fizzles out.

One factor behind their poor run is the lack of contribution from talisman Eden Hazard, who has struggled to make an impact and is without a goal since February.

Hazard's future remains the subject of speculation with Chelsea willing to offer him a huge contract to keep him away from Real Madrid, according to Sport.

His current performances are hardly likely to be tempting Real Madrid, but Chelsea need Hazard to improve. They may have little to play for in the Premier League, but they remain in contention in the FA Cup with a semi-final against Southampton to look forward to.

Chelsea head to St Mary's Stadium for a Premier League clash with struggling Southampton on Saturday. Mark Hughes' side remain in the relegation zone, and the Blues will be favourites to win.

West Ham welcome Stoke City to the London Stadium on April 16 and will be hoping to secure a win that could well secure their Premier League status for another season.
