There are two huge local derbies in the Premier League on Saturday, as Manchester City take on Manchester United and Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park.

City's game takes on extra significance because Pep Guardiola's side can win the Premier League title if they defeat the Red Devils at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool, meanwhile, make the short trip to Everton on the back of an emphatic 3-0 win over City in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Can City Clinch the Title Against United?

Manchester City go into Week 33 a massive 16 points clear at the top of the table and will be crowned champions if they take all three points. If they do win, they will become the earliest Premier League title winners in history, per Sky Sports PL:

That is not the only record Guardiola's side could break this season. His team are also on target to hit several new landmarks, as shown by BBC Sport:

However, Guardiola has something of a selection dilemma with the game falling between the two Champions League quarter-final clashes with Liverpool. City were well-beaten by Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, but they will hope they can pull off a memorable comeback in the return leg at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

The City boss must decide whether to rest players with the Champions League in mind or go for a strong team and aim to beat United and lift the trophy. While a win would also give the team a much-needed boost in confidence, fatigued players could jeopardise their Champions League hopes even further.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will not only want to delay City's celebrations, they will also be out to keep hold of second place as they are just two points above Liverpool, although they have played a game less.

Everton Face Buoyant Reds

Liverpool head to Everton with confidence high after a memorable win over City. Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe said it was a perfect performance:

However, there was some concern for the Reds as top scorer Mohamed Salah had to be replaced due to injury. The Egyptian had a scan on a groin problem on Thursday and could miss the trip to Goodison Park, per Nathan Salt for MailOnline.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is also angry about the scheduling of the game against Everton, as shown by ESPN FC:

However, Liverpool have a good record against their local rivals and have not lost to the Toffees since a 2-0 defeat back in October 2010.

Yet Everton can take heart from their record at Goodison Park. Liverpool have won only two of their last seven games there, per digital reporter Tony Scott:

Liverpool will be hot favourites to win after their performance against City, but Everton will hope they are distracted by their European commitments.
