Juventus vs. Real Madrid

The Italian champions and European champions have enjoyed plenty of iconic battles over the years and have generally balanced each other out quite well.

In recent knockout-stage matchups, the Bianconeri hold the edge, advancing in the 2014-15, 2004-05 and 2002-03 campaigns. The latter in particular is one fans remember fondly because the return leg in Turin was one of their best-ever European nights, with the hosts winning 3-1.

Their most recent meeting went Los Blancos' way, however, with Real easily winning last year's final by the same score.

Real enter the contest in fine form, winning their last five matches and knocking Paris Saint-Germain out of the tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo is once again scoring easily, and manager Zinedine Zidane was able to rest a number of starters during the weekend, with his team still beating Las Palmas.

Juventus didn't have that luxury, as they're involved in a tight title race in Italy and hosted rivals AC Milan. The Bianconeri won 3-1 but had to dig deep, unlike their next opponents.

The Old Lady will also have to deal with suspensions for Miralem Pjanic and Medhi Benatia, whereas Real have no suspensions and few injury concerns to worry about.

Sevilla vs. Bayern Munich

These two clubs have never met in the Champions League or indeed any European competition and should make for an interesting clash of styles.

The Andalusians are coming off a 2-2 draw against Barcelona in which they dominated for most of the match but gave away two late goals. Sevilla are mostly known for their defensive solidity, although they haven't been at their best in that department this season, conceding far more than their rivals in La Liga's race for the top four.

They've been better in Europe and knocked out Manchester United in the previous round but suffered a huge blow in the process. Ever Banega, the side's creative centerpiece, ran into a booking and a suspension, ruling him out for Tuesday's match.

Robert Lewandowski bagged three goals in the 6-0 demolition of Borussia Dortmund and will like his chances of continuing his fine form at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. The La Liga side have a solid reputation at home, but without Banega pulling the strings in midfield, their attack should be severely weakened, allowing the Germans to press forward even more.
