Jared Dudley Recalls Stephen Curry Entered Clippers' Training Room in 2014
Following Monday night's postgame incident between the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers, Jared Dudley reminded everyone that it's not the first time frustrated visitors infiltrated the home team's quarters.
On his podcast Monday, former Clippers guard JJ Redick joked about examining the back entrance of the Staples Center's locker room Chris Paul and Co. used to confront Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin, as ESPN.com's Adrian Wojnarowski reported.
Dudley, Redick's teammate during the 2013-14 season, chimed in with a story from the 2014 postseason:
The Clippers eliminated the Golden State Warriors in a back-and-forth first-round series with a 126-121 Game 7 victory. Per Dudley, Stephen Curry entered the Clippers' training room after the game.
Reporting the incident for Yahoo Sports in 2014, Marc. J. Spears wrote Curry and Steve Blake confronted Clippers ball boys between the home and away locker rooms. A source said the Los Angeles Police Department was called to contain the situation.
"It was a crazy scene," a witness told Spears.
Redick would probably attract a lot of listeners by taking Dudley's suggestion.
