Ben Simmons Makes Dream Come True for Fan with Cerebral Palsy
Thanks to the power of sports and social media, Philadelphia 76ers fan Tyler Osowski recently had the opportunity to live out his dream.
Osowski, a 12-year-old with cerebral palsy, underwent a major surgery this summer to help him walk. After he had the surgery, Dawn Timmeney of Fox 29 took to Twitter to share the young fan's story and revealed what he was wishing for:
When the Sixers' Ben Simmons found out, he put the wheels in motion:
"Let's make it happen

Simmons took some time recently to hang out on the court with Osowski, giving the fan the highlight of a lifetime by throwing down an alley-oop off a lob from the youngster. This special encounter marked the first time Osowski had been on a court since his operation—and what a way to make a return.
Not only did Osowski get a chance to hoop with his favorite player, but he also received an autographed pair of sneakers.
While playing basketball with the Sixers star meant the world to Osowski, it meant just as much to Simmons:
It's great to see Simmons gets it at the young age of 21. Thanks to athletes like him, fans around the world get a chance to live out their dreams.
