Pep's Legacy Another Level 😤
The Ups and Downs of Joachim Low's Germany Tenure
Tom WebbJul 3, 2017
A youthful Germany lifted the Confederations Cup on Sunday in Saint Petersburg, Russia, earning Joachim Low his second major trophy as Germany manager.
During the tournament, the 57-year-old also passed 150 games and 100 wins in charge of the national team, over which time there have been numerous soaring highs and the occasional disappointing low.
While Germany went without glory in their first three tournaments under Low's direction, they ended their wait for a trophy in 2014, when they beat Argentina to lift the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.
They added to that success on Sunday and will now set their sights on retaining the World Cup next summer.
